Last Sunday a student alerted me that my web site was down. On checking, I discovered that my host for many, many years (Text Drive) had closed shop, left town and was no more! All with out any notification that they intended to do so—no time to get files etc. and both this site and my studio site (emmott.com) were gone. My latest blog data backup was in Jan, my other files earlier.<\/p>\n
Soooo, after I calmed down, I gathered what I had and found a new host, DigitalOcean, and set about rebuilding things. I have most everything as you can see except any Blog entries after Dec. and any messages to my students which I type on the fly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
