{"id":4546,"date":"2018-06-10T19:07:18","date_gmt":"2018-06-10T23:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bethemmott.com\/blog\/?p=4546"},"modified":"2018-06-10T19:07:18","modified_gmt":"2018-06-10T23:07:18","slug":"playing-with-food","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bethemmott.com\/blog\/playing-with-food\/","title":{"rendered":"Playing with Food!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moore.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Moore College of Art<\/a> reunion yesterday &#8211; brunch in the am &#8211; workshops in the afternoon&#8230;and the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Awards presentation, (my friend and former student Harshia Lohia received an award as did Janice Merendino) followed by the Alumni Exhibition Opening in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>I signed up for &#8220;Art Forms in Nature&#8221; workshop lead by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karenfuchshome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Karen Fuchs<\/a> which I thought was going to be drawing but instead was a discussion of forms and patterns found in nature followed by stamping designs with supplied food &#8211; cut lemons, garlic, cabbage, etc. &#8211; Pretty basic stuff but we had a lot of fun.
