Hadn’t painted with oils for many years, so this winter/spring I took 3, 6 week workshops at Woodmere Art Museum to get myself back in the swing of things. These are some of my paintings from that time. As it was winter and I mainly wanted to work with landscapes I painted from photographs I had taken. My plan was to take these workshops and a Plein Air workshop this summer and then I’d see where I am. I’m pleased with this beginning. (click image for a larger view.)
