Witness
Ten days ago I watched my parents be buried in Arlington National Cemetery. It was a very cold windy day. The service was poignant. I was surrounded by friends and family yet I felt like a lone witness.

Happy Valentine’s Day
Forget the candy, forget the flowers, forget the gifts. Just to have a day to celebrate Love and Joy is a very good thing. (I do love to get flowers in bleak Feburary, but spring flowers, like tulips!)
